Omas is back with the brand relaunch edition.
We have selected one of the rarest materials from original Omas stock- Blue Saffron. Using the original Blue saffron materials, we have made 222 pieces to commemorate February 22nd 2022 when the idea of reviving Omas started. We selected an Ogiva model to pair with this memorizing material. Ogiva (an Italian word) means the top of an arch. It represents the high hope we had for this pen and Omas to be the leader of fine writing instruments again.
Continuing the Italian writing instrument tradition, Omas Ogiva 222 is handmade in Naples Italy. Fitted with 18k Omas nibs. Each pen is individually marked with serial numbers out of 222 engraving on the barrel of the pen. Omas 222 will have a piston filler. We have constructed a separate ink reservoir so that the ink will not be in direct contact with the Blue Saffron celluloid. Each pen is tested with blue ink (it is possible to have some ink restuted) and inspected before delivering. Omas Ogiva 222 will have the options of 18K750 gold fine, medium, or broad nibs pairing with gold plated trim.
