The Paragon collection, created in the 1930s by Armando Simoni, features a 12-faceted design and roller clip.

Paragon: The Paragon Calligrafia seeks to truly live up to the name “Paragon”, a model of excellence. Made out of a red rippled ebonite as an homage to the famous material of the past, the Calligrafia is our first Paragon ever to be made out of the vaunted substance. Most importantly however, each Paragon Calligrafia is crowned with a truly special nib. The “Double Stacked” nibs are created by TAKU-san through a process of carefully welding together two of our 14ct gold nibs. These nibs are designed and ground to offer line variation anywhere from Extra Fine to BBBB depending on the writing angle of the user. The stacked nibs of the Calligrafia offer the perfect tool for self expression, one pen for every situation.

Cleaning

OMAS recommends that you carry out a thorough cleaning process for your fountain pen every three months or before you put the fountain pen in storage.

Please prepare two containers with clean water. Fill your OMAS pen from one container and empty out the pen into another container. Repeat this process at least five times or until the water runs clear.

Natural Materials

Your writing instrument is manufactured from distinctive materials, such as precious resin or celluloid, metal, wood, and other precious materials. To enjoy your OMAS writing instrument for a long time, please protect it from any breakage or damage and do not expose it to heat or humidity.

Storage of your OMAS  Writing Instrument

We recommend keeping your OMAS writing instrument in a soft pouch for protection. When not using your OMAS writing instrument for a longer period of time, we kindly advise you to perform the above cleaning process before storage. After a longer storage period, OMAS recommends cleaning your fountain pen to preserve its pristine condition.

F.A.Q.

What are the available nib sizes?

OMAS is proud to manufacture precious-material nibs in-house. Choosing a fountain pen starts with how you plan to use it: daily writing, drawing, or signatures. A writing test at our authorized retailers or at our events can help you find the right nib.

Available nib widths include EF, F, M, and B. Please check the individual product page for available options.

The round tip is suitable for prolonged writing sessions, including for fountain pen beginners and left-handed writers.

More options will be available in the future.

How can I identify the nib size?

The letter engraved on the left shoulder of the nib typically indicates its width: F for fine, M for medium and B for broad.
