Product information
You can return any item purchased on the Omas e-boutique within 20 days of the delivery date. Purchases made on Omasofficial.com cannot be returned to store or retail locations at this moment. You can start the return process by following the below instructions:
- Email service@omasofficial.com to obtain a return authorization.
- Make sure the merchandise you return is in its original condition, tags and packaging included, otherwise we will be unable to accept your return and issue a refund.
- Use the pre-paid Return Label obtained from the return authorization and leave the package at a drop-off location.
Personalized Omas products cannot be returned for exchange or refund.
Once your package reaches the warehouse, please allow 3 to 7 business days (depending on peak times) for your return to be processed. If your return does not meet the conditions listed, the package will be sent back to you. When your return has been accepted, your refund will be issued and you will receive a confirmation email.

May I return an engraved or embossed product?
Personalized items with engraving or embossing are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged except when due to a product defect.
Can I use my own return service?

Can I make an exchange?
Currently, the only way to exchange a product is to return it and make a new order.
Cleaning
Omas recommends that you carry out a thorough cleaning process for your fountain pen every three months or before you put the fountain pen in storage.
Please prepare two containers with clean water. Fill your Omas pen from one container and empty out the pen into another container. Repeat this process for at least five times or until your desired cleaness.
Natural Materials
Your writing instrument is manufactured from distinctive materials, such as precious resin or celluloid, metal, wood, and other precious materials. To enjoy your Omas writing instrument for a long time, please protect it from any breakage or damage and do not expose it to heat or humidity.
Storage of your Omas Writing Instrument
We recommend to keep your Omas writing instrument in a soft pouch for protection. When not using your Omas writing instrument for a longer period of time, we kindly advise to perform the above cleaning process before storage. After a longer storage period, Omas recommends to clean your fountain pen to preserve its pristine condition.
Authenticity Service
We offer an evaluation of originality for all our products. This service is exclusively carried out by our master craftsmanship in our headquarters service center.
Your writing instrument will be carefully inspected by our specialist. In case your product is a genuine Omas we will issue the ” Certificate of Authenticity” as proof of authenticity. The Authenticity evaluation is a chargeable service and requires up to five working days upon receipt in our headquarters service center (excluding customs and shipping). What are the available nib sizes?
Omas is proud of manufacturing precious material nibs in-house. A typical fountain pen selection at Omas starts with the question of which purpose you would like to use the fountain pen for. Either for daily writing, drawing or signatures. This is best determined via a special writing test at our authorized retailers (hype link to retailer page) or meet us at trunk shows(hype link to trunk show page). Accordingly, we offer a perfectly handcrafted nib by selecting from the three geometrics and different nib widths:
EF, F, M, B
The basic feature is the round tip which is suitable for prolonged writing sessions, especially for fountain pen beginners and left-handers.

How could I identify the nib size?
The engraved letter on the nib left shoulder typically indicates the nib size, such as F for fine, M for medium, B for Broad.

Warranty coverage
A standard Omas international warranty covers fine writing instruments and accessories purchased from Omas or authorized retailers for any manufacturing default for two years. Any new-in-old stock products are not eligible for warranty.
